Eek! Halloween

We bought this for H. back around Halloween, and it very quickly became a storytime staple. It's the tale of some scaredy-cat chickens trying to survive a night filled with horrors, like, say, cows in robot costumes. Of course, Goth Baby loves it. You knew he would.
Peekaboo with Happy Cow

The final installment from the UK book collection, Happy Cow is another lift-the-flap book, which, as we've already established, H. is a big fan of. Like Spotty Dog, this one has lots of cows and kitties on every page, so it stays in the rounds pretty often.
The hardback version isn't available on Amazon for whatever reason, but again, if you've got an Ollie's nearby, check there. Ours had a ton of them.
Match-up Analysis
Eek! Halloween has the advantage of being a pretty solid read that H. is consistently into. That said, Happy Cow has flaps, and two of the Big Three (all three if you count a tractor as a car...which H. definitely does). It could really come down to the mood at game time.
Prediction
Were I a betting woman, I'd go with Peekaboo with Happy Cow. But I'm gun shy at this point. I don't trust H. anymore. My faith in him has been shattered. It's Eek! Halloween all the way.
Results
Goth Baby does not disappoint, chooses Eek! Halloween.
