Round 1: (6) Superheroes ABC 123 vs. (11) Dr. Seuss' ABCs

How many ABC books can a kid have?

In a similar vein as Tuesday night's victor, Superheroes Busy Bodies, Superheroes ABC 123 teaches kids letters and numbers via easily accessible concepts like kryptonite, up up and away, and Plastic Man. Ok, really, what's up with all the Plastic Man in these books? But I digress. There's also super dogs, invisible jets, giant mutant seahorses, and other things your kid will probably be more interested in spelling and counting.

Available in board book, paperback, hardcover, audiobook, and Kindle formats. (Amazon)

This is a fairly recent acquisition, and I'm not sure H. has really flipped through it yet. It's a Dr. Seuss book, and it's an ABC book, so I'm sure you can imagine the kinds of things that turn up. Alligator rides and duck-dogs, for example.

Match-up Analysis

I think this match-up will really come down to H's mood. He's familiar with Superheroes ABC 123, and that could be a nod in its favor, but more than once in this tournament so far, we've seen him go for an untested underdog like Dr. Seuss' ABCs.

Prediction

Dr. Seuss' ABCs with the (unexpected?) victory.

Results

H. picked Superheroes ABC 123 without a moment's hesitation.

Up Next

Superheroes ABC 123 will face down ABC is for Circus on April 11th.
